What is our Mission?
Rock Solid Marriage Ministries exists to advance the mission of Gods Kingdom by strengthening marriages and revealing God’s plan for marriage to the married and the unmarried. To help with a better understanding of marriage according to God’s Word, helping husbands and wives take their respective roles within the marriage, while training other couples to do the same.
We believe that marriages are called to be in covenant relationships with God and each other. Our hope is to see marriages get closer to God, to one another and to other marriages in and outside of Rock Solid Marriage Ministries. We plan to:
To provide Biblical instruction regarding marriage.
To provide opportunities for fellowship.
To provide refreshment and encouragement.
To offer prayer for marriages & relationships in and out of the ministry.
To discuss day to day issues through testimony from existing marriages.
To assist individuals in understand the needs and desires of their spouses.
To discover new ways to keep excitement in marriages.
To help couples be better communicators and listeners.
To provide marital and relationship counsel.
To bring new families into the Kingdom.
To guide singles down Gods planned path of marriage.
To assist singles in understanding of premarital relationships
We also desire to create opportunities to connect with others that are in the same stage of premarriage/marriage and parenting to connect. One of our goals is to revitalize our marriages and keep them healthy and strong, reflecting God’s perfect plan for loving, committed marriages.
A strong, vibrant, healthy marriage does not just happen. It takes preparation, enrichment, and support (WORK). We will help to take proactive steps to prevent marriages from reaching a state of crisis, and to revive those already in distress. We will transform bad marriages, increase intimacy in good ones, save the futures of children involved in hurting homes through there parents.
We are committed to helping Gods children succeed! Most spend all there time planning the wedding and forget to invest in there marriage. Marriage is a lot of work, but when lived out by God’s principles, can be the most rewarding relationship on earth.
